Clavis Lilia — Dropcap Font

Clavis Lilia is a medieval-inspired typeface, based on the well-designed drop cap typeface from Desclée Typo., Tournai.

Toinewh Ed. decided to design its own interpretation of this font, naming it Clavis, after Desclée, and Lilia, pointing to the curves and lily-like shapes.​​​​​​​
Clavis Lilia is primarily designed for a drop cap use, and one of its main purposes is the composition of liturgical books, as shown below.
Therefore,  it may be use for a variety of projects, from product design to lettering, giving a touch of originality…
The font is still under development and needs some time to support more characters. By the way, all latin letters are precisely shaped yet: ideas are flowing…

The extended version comes with some nice extras & variations, such as flower-shaped diacritics, various symbols, and Roman numerals.
